One Way to Love

There is only one way to love, and that is with everything. You cannot partially love something. If you go about dividing your love that way, it undermines your heart. You have to give everything or else whatever it is your love is focused on will know your love is fractured. How much love is enough? If there’s only a little, it’s all you have, and it’s more than enough. Throw it into the air and kick it up like a blanket, and let it settle over whatever it is that has captured your affection. Walk in it, in all your ways. Covered by the greatest emotion there is and embodied in one person, our Lord Jesus Christ.
