Lamb Turned Lion

Stepping out from the tree line, the lamb turned Lion. A mane for His crown. The wilderness for His kingdom. He strides the open field, the mightiest of beasts, fearing nothing. The darkness flees when it passes under his glare. The lion of the light exposes them, driving them from their dens. At His anger, the birds shake from the trees and darken the sky. The smell of blood is in the air and, before long, death. When the Lamb of God turns hunter, the beasts run, and when cornered, protect their throats. The docile lamb now rooting out evil with a mighty roar. His eyes are darker than wine, His teeth whiter than milk. Our conquering, victorious king, descend from Judah.
